Nigerians at various polling units are worried that slow card readers being used for accreditation could lead to disenfranchisement of many.
At Ward 8 polling unit 003 in Surulere Local Government Area in Oyo State, with about 500 voters, many are yet to be accredited as a result of a very slow card readers.
An official of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at the unit were also seen writing names of voters who could not be accredited using the card readers....
President Jonathan and his wife Patience were also pictured at their polling unit in Otuoke, Bayelsa state this morning. President Jonathan was yet to be accredited following the failure of the card reader. The INEC officer tried reading President Jonathan's PVC but it failed after which Patience Jonathan's PVC was tried with no positive outcome...
